KabarDuri ,BENGKALIS – For the next 9 months, starting from Wednesday 10 February to 31 October 2021, Bengkalis Regency will be on emergency alert status for forest and land fire disasters.
The alert status was determined by the Bengkalis Regent Decree Number: 115 / KPTS / II / 2021.
The decision, dated February 10, 2021, was signed by Acting Regent of Bengkalis H. Syahrial Abdi.
The determination of the emergency alert status in the context of overcoming the Karhutla in the district nicknamed the Negeri Junjungan.
As for the consideration of establishing an emergency alert status, because based on data from the Pekanbaru BMKG, the weather forecast in February 2021 will be a long dry season in Bengkalis Regency.
Then, on 6 and 8 February, hotspots were detected in Rupat and Talang Muandau Districts, and there were Karhutla in Bengkalis, Bantan and Rupat Districts.
